Cricut Circle Design Team...

 

I've been itching to share this news for awhile now!  I'm soooo excited to be joining Cricut Circle Design Team! When Jana Eubank contacted me about being part of the team I was thrilled and nervous all at the same time!  These ladies are SO talented! I hope I can do them justice!  I'm really looking forward to the upcoming year and the new opportunity it will bring to learn and grow with all the wonderful products Provocraft offers!!!  

Many of the projects I will be creating will be exclusively for the Cricut Circle Blog!  So they won't be posted here at The Pink Room for some time.  If you are not yet a Cricut Circle Member go HERE and sign up!!! It is packed FULL of awesome membership benefits and inspiration!

Summer Fun with Pebbles...

Teaching my Nikki Sivils layout class at The Little Blue House tonight!!! Should be a FUN evening as always!!! And gearing up for a fun weekend full of family and friends...we will be celebrating my grandmother's 90th birthday on Saturday!!!!

New Collection from Nikki Sivils!!!!

That is right...CHA is around the corner and I have a brand new collection from Nikki Sivils to share with you!!! 

Check out all the fabulous papers and what is SO AWESOME is all the new items Nikki has added to her collections!!!  What you will find that is new with these collection are

And I wanted give a little recap of the last week.  We were so busy with my dad and stepmom visiting from Indiana, dance recitals and celebrating Maren's 4th birthday!  Here are some pics from the fun week and weekend...It was all about the little girl!

OH! And on a sad note...while taking photos of Maren's party my ole' Canon Rebel pooped out on me!  I got a the infamous ERR99 message on the camera, took it too a local camera shop here and decided to forgo the repair and buy new...I"m looking at the Canon 60D body only!  I've heard good things about this camera and for what I use it for I think it will be perfect!  We shall see!

Elmer's Craft and Tell Challenge...

I am so excited to represent Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker in the Elmer's/X-Acto Craft and Tell Event!!! Elmer's sent Nikki's design team some of their fabulous products to work with and when I saw the PINK items, as you can see below I was HOOKED!!!  Check out what I got...

I love using pop dots BUT the Elmer's Mini Bi-fold Foam Board was PERFECT for my sun rays! I created the sun by using the X-ACTO Gripper, Circle Cutter and the Foam Board.  It added awesome dimension on the layout and I also used it on smaller pieces in place of my pop dots!

Pebbles Product Parade...

It is all about ribbon today over at the Pebbles blog today! We are showcasing all the fun ways to use the fabulous ribbon from Pebbles. They come in a variety of colors, patterns and textures!  For this project I created two cards using the orange ribbon spool and the sparkle paper from the Ever After collection.  To give it a pop of color I also accented with the Hot Air Balloons embellishments. (Can you tell I was channeling my inner Susuan Weinroth for inspiration? :))

Happy Birthday to Our Sweet Girl...

Little Maren is 4 years old today!!!! So hard to believe...it has been a FAST four years!  She is the light of our lives and brings us soooo much joy and many many smiles.  Excited about her birthday is an understatement! We are celebrating this weekend at "Let's Pretend Tea Parties" and the name says it all!  Very girly, very sassy and very PINK!!!  What could be cuter than a bunch of little girls playing tea party and dressing up!  I'm sure I will have lots of photos to share!!!  

Today we will celebrate with a little Toys R Us shopping to pick out her favorite toy and a mani pedi, which she LOVES already at four! Crazy Silly!!!

Busy weekend ahead...My dad and stepmom are visiting from Indiana for the week, Maren's dance recital and Jackson's first birthday on Saturday! Whew I'm tired already!  I am also going to try to make it out the the Scrapbook Convention in Arlington tomorrow if I can.  No promises though.  The Little Blue House Gals will be there and I really want to check out there booth!!! Pebbles Favorite Things Reveal...

Hi everyone!!!  Is it a little dusty around here...or is it just me??? I haven't posted in a while.  These kiddos of mine are keeping me busy this week...Maren's dance recital is in two weeks so we had pictures taken at her dance studio...courtesy of the fabulous Natalie K !!!.  You should see her walk around like a little diva in her costume...very cute!  I'm sure I will have many photos to share come recital day! Only two days of school left for Mason and our summer officially will begin!!!

Speaking of walking around like a diva...I created a layout for the Pebbles blog today for the week of favorite things! I found these photos are Maren when she was just 13 months old walking around like a little prissy girl in her baby bikini.  Go to the Pebbles blog HERE to see my "favorite things" used on this layout!!! And here is my take on it.  I took this photo of Mark with his mom, brother and sister on Mother's Day. It has been many years since they all had their picture taken together. So it was nice to capture the moment!

Busy this week...Mason has been under the weather so we are trying to get him well...we are counting down the days till the end of school and the start of summer...their last day May 27th! Yikes, it's coming up fast!
